The Virtue of Repeating the Beginners Class
About Levels in Thai Massage Courses
You may have noticed that Sunshine does not offer courses organised in levels ... Level 1, Level 2, level 3, ... Why?
We simply care about the foundation of your practice.
We bet that when you personally need a massage, you will be more likely to trust a “level 1” practitioner who gives massage regularly than a newly qualified “level 3” therapist proudly displaying a piece of paper.
"Levels” truly mean very little. In reality, they have been created to make it easier to sell a course. Not to help you build a mindful practice.
A more useful way to deepen your practice
Simply repeat the beginner’s course. The beginner’s course, with a renewed point of view,
becomes an even richer experience.

This guarantees that students repeat the basics again and again, which is important to gain a deeper understanding but at the same time we give individual teachings on whatever aspect of Thai massage our students would like to explore more. This is not formalized, so our advanced students come up with their questions, often practical questions that have been arising throughout the year and ask us for teachings they find helpful for their practice..."
