These "Combos" combine several courses into an Extended Program to deepen your study of Thai Massage
Depending on your needs, available time, and goals, we will be happy to customize a program for you, based on the beginner's course and our existing scheduled advanced classes.

5 Weeks Thai Massage Program

Beginner's course + 2nd Beginner's course + Field work
For serious student looking for great foundation training including practical experience. The course starts with the 2-week beginner's course and follows Asokananda’s advice to repeat this fundamental class over the following two weeks.
You will also learn how to make and apply herbal balls.
In the last week, knowledge and techniques are put into practice at a home for elderly people. You will practice massage under supervision of the teacher in the mornings, and receive feedback and additional teaching in the afternoons.

1st Beginners course + 2nd Beginners course + Bridging & Side Position + Advanced + Stretches & Fieldwork
For serious students looking for Intensive Massage Programs and Packages. The course starts with the beginner's course and follows Asokananda’s advice to repeat this fundamental class over the following two weeks.
Then, there is one week to review and deepen the acquired knowledge in the bridging course.
Next is 2 weeks of advanced training. The first week addresses the full body massage in the side position and the final week introduces advanced techniques and stretches. You will also learn how to make and apply herbal balls.

This is a very intensive training and the students can learn quite a lot in a relatively short time. In previous years we noticed that while many students completed the training without problems, some found it a little too hard and became stressed. Based on this experience, we have added a week off after the first four weeks of training.

1 Beginners course + 2nd Beginners course + Bridging & Side Position + Advanced + Stretches & Fieldwork + Meditation Retreat + Fieldwork
For the most serious of students who are looking for an Intensive Massage Program and also want to integrate meditation.
The course follows Asokananda’s advice to do the Beginner's class twice, before proceeding to the Bridging component.
Following this is a one week review to consolidate the knowledge acquired in the Bridging course.
Next is 2 weeks of advanced training. The first week addresses the full body massage in the side position, and the second week introduces advanced techniques and stretches. You will also learn how to make and apply herbal balls.
The meditation retreat at Wat Umong is a 10 day retreat and therefore prospective students should be prepared for the commitment involved in this component before choosing the Combo 10 course.
The fieldwork component involves practice of techniques by giving massages at a home for elderly people under the supervision of the teacher in the mornings, and receiving feedback and additional teachings in the afternoons.

- About the intensive meditation retreat at Wat Umong : We strongly recommend that you read the temple’s explanation very carefully, because the retreat is very intensive and not suitable for everybody.
